So gut wie alle Türen lassen sich mit einem Türdämpfer nachrüsten. Doch besonders bei Drehflügeltüren ist das nachträgliche Montieren eines Türdämpfers optisch ein Kompromiss. Vor allem gradlinige Türen verlieren durch den auf das Türblatt aufgesetzten Kasten und den am Rahmen montierten Gegenpart viel von ihrem Charakter.

Besonders knifflig wird das Nachrüsten bei rahmenlosen Türelementen, da die eingeputzte Zarge wenig bis gar keine Montagepunkte bietet. Die Lösung: Einbauelemente für rahmenlose Drehflügeltüren und Schiebetüren, bei denen der Türanschlagdämpfer integriert ist.

Türdämpfer für Drehflügeltüren sind zweiteilig: Sie bestehen aus einem feststehenden Element, das am Türrahmen befestigt wird sowie einem Element am Türblatt. Beim Schließen gleitet das Element am Türrahmen in die Vorrichtung am Türblatt und wird in seine finale Position geführt.

Besonders die Vorrichtung am Türblatt muss einiges an Mechanik aufnehmen und ist oft entsprechend groß. WINGBURG bietet für das Einbausystem KONTURA einen Türdämpfer, der nahezu unsichtbar ist.

Er besteht aus einem kleinen Pin, der am Holm der Türzarge montiert wird. Der zweite Bestandteil wird in das Türblatt eingelassen – vergleichbar mit dem Türschloss. Lediglich die kleine Führungsschiene tritt oben aus dem Türblatt heraus und verschwindet im geschlossenen Zustand vollständig im Falz. Eleganter kann elegantes Schließen nicht sein.
